Cost Industries, Inc. is a family owned business. As with any family, each member has his or her own talents. Principal owner Christopher Cost has degrees in Computer Science and special interests in business development and management. Owner Debbie Cost is talented in the decorative arts, especially floral crafts. Owner David Cost brings many years of retail and wholesale business knowledge and experience to the company.
Rather than each of us owning seperate companies, we decided to operate as one company with different labels or brands for the differing products and services we offer. So, Christopher incorporated his two year old technology consulting business (Cost Industries) earlier this year and began creating divisions under his company.
He started with After Hours Technology. This division provides at-home computer services to individuals each evening during the week and during the day on Saturdays. To better serve the After Hours Technology customers in service and product offerings, After Hours Technology was merged into the professional services division Past Present Future Technology the summer of 2007. After Hours Technology customers will beneift from more appointment times, lower personal software prices, and more service offerings.
The summer of 2006 welcomed the addition of two new divisions. The first was Past Present Future Technology, an information technology consulting firm and independent software vendor. PPF Technology provides IT and software solutions to small and medium sized businesses across the country.
The second division added the summer of 2006 in partnership with his mother. She was given part ownership of the corporation and primary responsibility of Daze Delight. Daze Delight hand crafts floral arrangments, wreaths, and centerpieces for holiday, special, and all-oocassion events. Christopher's father came into the company as a part owner Christmas 2006 and hand crafts homemade gourmet soaps and will soon begin crafting gourmet lotions.
